Massimo, you’re a big fan of cycling, where lives its great beauty?
It ‘s something that goes fishing in the emotional memory that belongs to me and that is especially linked to childhood: the first time that I discover freedom. In my neighborhood I went by bike in another district, I tried a strong emotion. It had never happened to me to come out from the perimeter. So the beauty of the bike for me is the independence and freedom.
What is the first memory on bike?
My first bicycle was a white “Graziella”. I remember I completely disassembled it, to see how it was done. I was maybe 8 years old and I found myself holding bearings, nuts and pieces of any kind and I was no able to reassemble it. Today, however, I go always to make the seminars welding in order to arrange vintage bicycles that I find in poor condition. I do a lot of fun to do all by myself and I have all professional equipment!

Actually I’ve done eight. For me it is a way of life. I have so much enthusiasm that every year
I wait for the Eroica as a kid expecting Santa Claus
. It ‘a wonderful celebration that brings together great people who all share the same passion. I knew Eroica before it became so famous, and its original purpose is to preserve the landscape, enhance an area, create a circuit of tourist interest. On that occasion with fellow actors, we also present theater plays: this year we played the World Tour cycling of Annie Londonderry, the first, half of the nineteenth century, globetrotter.
What is the bike for you?
The way to get out of all the schemes that suffocate us. Within another dimension and breath a breath of fresh air!
